Course Details: The course equips participants with the knowledge, skills and confidence to recognise the signs of mental ill-health, provide initial support, and guide individuals towards professional help.

On completion of the course participants will be able to

  • Recognise the signs and symptoms of mental health problems
  • Be aware of the support services out there
  • Develop a framework for communication
  • Learn how to offer and provide initial support
